Nutrition month has come, but our nutrition is fading away.
During nutrition month, we celebrate our healthy lifestyle, routine and habits,
we also educate people about the importance of making informed food choices and
developing sound eating and physical activity habits.
This year’s theme focuses on promoting a balanced healthy
lifestyle through proper nutrition and physical fitness activities, by
different contests or competitions. Like: Nutri-Jingle, essay writing, poster
making and more, we are able to celebrate and implement the sights and
accomplish objectives of the nutrition month. Thanks also to our government
especially the DepEd and DOH for their help in hosting the nutrition month.
My intro says “Nutrition month has come, but our nutrition
is fading away” it means even if there are people who are healthy and have a
good lifestyle, there are also several people around the world that needs
nutrition. The cause of this is because of their lack of guidance about what
type of food they will eat and type of lifestyle they will take. It was called
‘malnutrition’.
