Calamity preparedness demonstration

Resulta ng larawan para sa earthquake fault
Whenever calamities occur, people tend to fear the event so panic arises and we couldn’t think of a better way of how to react to those kind of situations. But thanks to NDRRM, DepEd and OCD for implementing the NSED or the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill in order to reach us how we should act before during, after a disaster.

NSED’s first quarter started in Iloilo City where a lot of people participate including private and public schools and business organizations. The 1st quarter of NSED was successful with the help of the government officials, the NDRRMC taught the demonstration of evacuation procedures followed by teaching the emergency response of coastal barangays. The NSED’s objective it not the only help people move more actively and responsively when unexpected earthquakes will happen.

Learning, applying and preventing, if we cannot prevent a calamity then learn to counter it and apply what you’ve learned. We shall not just depend on our officials for our safety but we must also act on our own good. The NSED showed us that we can respond to earthquakes better by learning how to react responsibly when an earthquake occurs.
